R.W. Harden & Associates is an independent consulting firm specializing in groundwater, surface water and geologic resources. Founded more than 40 years ago and having completed over 4,500 projects in Texas, nationally, and internationally, R. W. Harden & Associates is a recognized expert of the Carrizo-Wilcox aquifer in the Central Texas area and was on the project team for the Texas Water Development Board's Central Carrizo-Wilcox Groundwater Availability Model. The company acts as the groundwater engineer for all BlueWater projects.

The company has more than 80 million feet of pipe in service today. Strategically located in Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, Ontario, and Quebec, the Hanson Pressure Pipe facilities serve major North American population centers, employ more than 1,100 people. The company provided the pipe for BW130’s 53-mile pipeline.
